April’s Kittens Visitor Waiver, Guidelines & Admission Policy

This agreement is designed to ensure a positive experience for both our visitors and our cats. Because many of the cats in our care come from vulnerable or medically complex situations, their comfort, safety, and wellbeing are our highest priority. The following guidelines, policies, and liability terms help us maintain a safe and low-stress environment where cats can thrive and guests can interact with them safely and respectfully.

By participating in a visit, you are not only enjoying time with our cats—you are directly supporting their rescue, care, and rehabilitation. We ask that all guests review and agree to the following terms prior to entering the space to help us create a safe and welcoming experience for everyone.

April’s Kittens Visitor Waiver & Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in visiting April’s Kittens! Our cats’ wellbeing is our top priority, so we have a few simple guidelines to ensure their comfort and safety during your visit.

By initialing where indicated, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with all terms outlined in this agreement. Your initials serve as your acknowledgment and acceptance of these policies.

Visitor Guidelines

  • Use quiet voices — loud noises can frighten the cats

  • Respect their boundaries — if a cat seems shy or scared, please do not force interaction

  • Do not carry the cats — this helps prevent stress and keeps everyone safe

  • Children ages 10 and older are welcome. For the safety and sensitivity of our cats, children under the age of 10 are not permitted

  • Anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult present during the entire visit

  • One adult must be present for every three (3) children under the age of 18

  • Children must be closely supervised at all times

  • Let sleeping cats rest — they need their naps to stay healthy and happy

  • Wash or sanitize your hands before touching any cats to help keep everyone healthy

  • Personal cats are not permitted inside the facility

If any of these guidelines are not followed, our staff may ask you to stop interacting with the cats or leave the facility without refund.
